wishy-washy (2024)
Sound Installation / MDF boards, acrylic glass, figures, thread, LED light strip and 2-channel audio

This sound installation critically illuminates the attitude in modern society, which neglects the search for the truth in the flood of media and information, selectively accepts information and is carried away by it uncritically. The objects in the work appear to be positioned independently of each other and in different directions, but are ultimately connected to each other by a thread attached to a speaker. By vibrating the speaker with sounds, these objects shake incessantly, symbolizing the psychology of the crowd and the influence of media in today’s society. It reflects the image of the public (and us?), some of whom easily fall under the influence of biased information presented by social media without going through a critical analysis or verification process.
