Too far, oh, now too close (2021) Sound Installation, 7 Min (Objects, 4 Channel Audio)
On a cold winter day, a group of porcupines huddled together very closely to protect themselves from freezing to death through each other’s warmth. However, they soon felt each other’s thorns, which then drove them away from each other again. Now when the need for warmth brought them closer together again, that second evil repeated itself, so that they were tossed back and forth between the two sufferings until they found a moderate distance from each other at which they could best endure it. – The Porcupines(1851), Arthur Schopenhauer
